Day of the Sacred

This was our Opening Day for the 2010 Summer Season at Shining Bay. We welcomed many of you to join us to celebrate another year of transformation, new and old friendships, deepening knowledge of the Path, and a closer connection with the Divine Presence.

We will performed a Sacred Fire Ceremony in the field in honour of Divine Mother to bless the land and ocean, the Retreat building and all present. We will also honoured Swami Kripalvanand as the presiding Master at our Center and all the saints and sages who continue to bless the earth.

Chanting, dancing and meditation will closed the event with a Vegetarian Feast following.

Those who wished to come a half hour early can took part in creating a beautiful rangoli at the entrances to welcome Lakshmi (Goddess of love, plenty and bliss) into the space in the traditional way.

There was no charge for this event, however, donations were welcome.
